| You can also help the library by joining the Friends of the International Library e.V. in der Brücke. This small effort would cost you only € 10 per year und benefit the International Library greatly.
The Friends of the International Library e.V. in der Brücke was founded on 24.09.1998 with the aim of preventing the closing of the "Fremdsprachenbibliothek der VHS". On 1.2.1998 this sponsoring organisation took over the running of the "International English Library / VHS Bibliothek". The objective of this organisation is to procure funds through sponsorships, donations and its own contributions which can then be made available for the maintenance, upkeep and further development of the library. All the library expenses, such as the salaries of the four part-time employees, purchase of new books and media, repairs, renovation and decoration work, purchase of new furniture etc. are borne by the Friends of the International Library. In addition, you can also choose to become a SPONSOR of the International English Library by making cash donations. Even the smallest donation can be a significant contribution to our future development. Should you require a donation receipt (Spendenbescheinigung), please let us know and we will arrange to have it sent to you from the City of Düsseldorf. Account details for donations: |
